Innovators on Tap

Content strategy, branding, sonic identity, technical training

Marquette University’s Innovator-in-Residence, Chuck Swoboda, was ready to bring innovative ideas to people’s ears.

And we love putting innovative content in people’s ears. So of course, we were down to help.

I think my favorite part of this entire project was working with Chuck.

As CEO of LED lighting company Cree, Chuck grew the company from $6M to $1.6B, and in 2013, Cree was recognized as one of America’s 25 Fastest Growing Tech Companies by Forbes Magazine.

In short, he’s a smart dude. But he’s also a kind, humble dude that knows how to get creative conversations flowing.

Anyway, enough doting — we helped them along with strategy, music, and technical training around the editing process, where I led a one-on-one training session with Kyle, the dude due to edit their show. It was a total blast.

They’re off to a better-than-great start. Take a listen to an Innovators on Tap episode below, or check out The GoGedders that gets into how the show came to be.
