The Commons is an organization that sits between Milwaukee’s startup, corporate, and collegiate worlds. They needed messaging to effectively communicate to all three.
Many moons ago, after my time as an Innovation Fellow at The Commons had wrapped, Co-Founder Joe Poeschl reached out and asked if I’d take a crack at their site copy.
(The site was still in development, so I just built a very simple Squarespace site to house my copy, seen below.)
I thought out different value propositions that would appeal to each group of stakeholders, and tried to tweak the voice slightly for each while keeping it cohesive throughout.
Years later, the site has since been redone, but you can still find little tidbits of my messaging around. I love this organization to death, and was honored that I got to produce a piece of work for them.
